composer of this book paraphrased the whole Nahj
al-Bal?ghah including sermons, letters, and
short sayings in Farsi poems. The poems are of an average quality, and the
composer tried not to distort the original Arabic text in spite of the difficulties
encountered in converting it into poems and rhythms. Naturally, the composer
goes beyond making an ordinary translation of the book, and unconsciously, his
work tends to be descriptive. The translation of the short sayings seems to be
more-lucid-and-acceptable. |
