The Islamic Data Bank (IDB) is a non-profit cultural institute devoted to providing information in the field of Islam and Islamic studies. The institute is currently engaged in the collection of various sources from throughout the world in line with its aim of providing a systematic presentation of all the relevant material on an international level. The Islamic Books Quarterly is an example of an IDB publication, in which works in various Islamic-related fields are introduced along with their abstracts. Its emphasis is on bibliography and introduction of Islamic studies in various areas of research throughout the world.
